Nine quick ways into Track Separate

The Silence Remover runs from this NAS package. Library, player and processing services open the public Track Separate app.

The public app opens in the same tab. Its Band Locker links remain private to each band.

What should we do with your recording?

Choose the free five-minute MP3 trial, the existing US$20 audio service, or send a rehearsal for pilot review. The price and next step are always shown before you continue.

The free first-track trial accepts one MP3 up to five minutes and one instrument adjustment. Limited to one trial per email address.

A 3 dB increase is clearly audible, but is not usually perceived as twice as loud. Roughly 10 dB is often described as about twice as loud.

Advanced secondary separation is a second processing stage. For example, it may attempt to divide multiple guitar parts, piano or keyboard parts, or extract a particular instrument from the Other stem. Results depend on the original mix.

Choose the stem created during the first separation pass that you want processed again. You will receive the original completed stem plus all useful separated components produced from it.

Drum kit-piece separation: SpectraLayers can split the completed drum stem into kick, toms, snare, clap, hi-hat, ride and crash. You will receive the original drum stem plus all useful separated components. Similar percussion may be grouped with the nearest category.

This uses a second-pass target-instrument process. It works best when the requested instrument has a distinct solo passage or clearly different tone from the other parts.

Custom requests may take longer and may require manual review or a separate quote.

The recording may contain several unfinished songs. Sections can be compared across repeated takes and mapped into a practical arrangement. Detected chords, key and tempo are estimates rather than guaranteed transcriptions.

Which analysis and band outputs should be attempted?

Choose at least one output. Requests are reviewed before any price or processing commitment.

Unless otherwise requested, completed stems will be returned in the same audio format as the uploaded file.

Your email is included with your private order record so Track Separate can reply about processing and delivery.

Your audio uploads first, then the private request is recorded. The free five-minute MP3 trial and rehearsal pilot do not go to Stripe. Standard separation and re-leveling remain US$20; advanced secondary separation remains an additional US$20. Keep this page open until submission is complete.

How it works

A simple, private workflow from upload to delivery.

Tell me what you need

Describe the song, the stems or backing tracks required, and how you plan to use them.

Upload your audio

You receive a private upload link for your WAV, AIFF, FLAC or high-quality MP3 file.

Processing and quality check

The track is separated, checked by ear and prepared according to the agreed service level.

Secure delivery

Your completed files are supplied through a private, time-limited download link.

What to expect

Modern separation can be excellent, but results vary according to the original mix.

Dense arrangements, heavy reverb, distorted guitars and highly compressed masters may leave some audible bleed or separation artefacts. Each job will be assessed honestly, and difficult material can be quoted before additional cleanup work begins.
